Tekbond Acetoxy Silicone General Purpose is a sealant based on silicone polymer, single component, low modulus, acetic cure with general purpose anti-fungal. It is a multipurpose product developed to seal with excellent performance.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Ensure the surface is clean.

2. Apply masking tape to protect areas where you do not want to apply silicone.

3. Cut the threaded tip of the tube, to create an opening for the silicone to flow.

4. Thread the applicator nozzle onto the tube and cut the tip nozzle at 45 °C angle to desired bead size and load into caulk gun.

5. Apply in temperatures between +5 °C to +45°C

6. Gently squeeze the trigger of the caulk gun, releasing silicone to the desired area.

IMPORTANT: Immediately after applying the silicone, finish by removing the masking tape before the product forms the film. After use, hold the applicator nozzle on the tube and leave a small amount of product above the nozzle to form a tampon. When reusing, remove the cap. After opening, use the product within two weeks.

LIMITATIONS: This product should not be used on laminated glass, corrosible metal, mirrors, painted and/or porous surfaces, alkaline surfaces, aquarium, acrylics, concrete, cement, brick, limestone, zinc, galvanized steel plate. Not recommended for polyethylene, polypropylene and polycarbonate-based plastics.

Not suitable for glass facades and any structural adhesion that requires resistance, food contact, continuous immersion in liquid media and in completely enclosed spaces.
